What We do

OUR MISSION

The mission of the TMB Foundation is to provide scholarships, promote academic excellence, economic growth and supply material, resources, services and lastly, to advocate on behalf of constituents of the communities we serve (the foundation will focus on inner-city development, social issues and partnership with other organizations to combat the lack of innovation, growth and economic stability which often negatively impacts these low-income communities).

Thus, the Taylor, Morse and Brown Foundation, Inc (TMBF). was created as a pathway for Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. to serve as an effectual force to offer guidance and resources to families that will add to the instructive enhancements, social consciousness, and community development of underprivileged young men in the Washington, DC metro area. The TMBF a youth and family development organization build on the fraternity’s long-standing presence in disadvantaged and underserved neighborhoods in the Washington, DC Metro area. Our targeted programs focus on the development of self via organizational responsiveness to local voices, strong bonds between community and volunteers, and adaptive peer friendship cliques.
